In May of 2010 I shot a short video of an instrumental that I had
written and submitted it to Guitar Player Magazine for the Guitar
Superstar Contest they hold once a year. The magazine would pick 10
contestants from all over the U.S. to compete in San Francisco on
Sept 18.
After 100's of entries were piling in from great guitarists, I
didn't think I was going to be picked. But low and behold I got the
call. What you’re about to see is my entry for the contest. It was
such an honor to be picked as one of the top 10 in the entire U.S.
I thank everyone for the great support throughout the whole
competition as well as the other guitarist with whom I shared the
stage. The whole trip was such a great experience that I decided to
pursue my career as a solo artist, not just as a guitar player but
also as a songwriter/producer.
This is just the beginning of what’s to come so stay tuned.
